Protect your enterprise with advanced security technology The Datacard RP90 Plus E ID card printer is a high performing printer. It prints on a retransfer film, which is then applied to the card surface. This protects the printed information from fading soon. It also allows you to print high quality photo ID cards. The cards are highly durable than traditional cards. The RP90 Plus E comes with an optional card laminator that applies Datacard DuraGard laminates and topcoats on the card surfaces. It prints right up to the edge of the smart card chip or directly over embedded chips. There is also a Security Erase feature that blocks out black text on the used YMCK ribbon to protect sensitive data from theft. The Datacard RP90 Plus E is ideal for printing a standard bar code, contact, contactless, proximity or dual-interface smart cards. It is perfect for government, student, and corporate IDs. |  |

Better Printing Technique
The RP90 Plus E printer prints on a retransfer film that is then applied to the card surface. This is a better method than printing on the surface of the card because it also protects the print head. This technique allows you to print high-quality photo IDs on a wide variety of card surfaces including heavy-duty, non-PVC material (PET, PET-G, ABS, and polycarbonate). These are more durable than the traditional cards.
Highly Secure
Important information is always left on the ink ribbon after it is printed on the card. With the RP90 Plus E printer you get a Security Erase feature that blocks out black text on the used YMCK ribbon to protect your sensitive data from theft. The printer utilizes IPSec encrypted networking security to secure the data transfer.
Network Connectivity
The RP90 Plus E printer gives you the option to print from any computer. You can plug it into a computer and start issuing cards in minutes. You get the choice of USB or 10/100 Base-T Ethernet connectivity, both come standard.
Custom Lamination
The RL90 card laminator is optional in the RP90 Plus E card printer and it can print and laminate on any card surface in the landscape configuration to maximize supply yield. You can print the card in any orientation, the laminate and
the topcoat is specifically formulated to maximize the security and durability of the ID card. You have a variety of clear and custom holographic laminate choices.
